Without wavering let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have.

For God can be trusted to keep His promise.

Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage

and warn one another, especially now that the day of His coming back again is

drawing near.

WORSHIP COMMITTEE

A love of church and an aesthetic eye for detail, that is our worship committee. We decorate the sanctuary and sometimes invent new ways to get you to take notice. Prayer shawls and quilts are also a part of this ministry. We are a member of the Prayers and Squares Quilt Guild.

PRAYER QUILTS
Do you quilt? We would love your expertise! We piece and tie lap quilts for people needing prayer. If you can donate please call Nancy Washburn 607-760-3482.

PRAYER SHAWLS
Do you knit or crochet? We would love your expertise! Beautiful shawls are created to give to those in need. Contact Carol Prentice with questions 607-725-3369.

MISSIONS COMMITTEE

We try to address needs locally, nationally and globally. Included in our efforts: ugly quilts for the homeless, pillows for heart surgery patients, weekly CHOW food distribution, assisting with serving free breakfasts, CHOW hunger walk participation, continued assistance to the Windsor Human Development and its programs.

GOD’S BREAD  program Tuesdays - 8:15 to noon. The CHOW food program is open to anyone.  CHOW is a supplementary food program. We serve the families of the Windsor Central School District. Tuesdays between 8 and 9:15 VOLUNTEERS are needed to  sort and bag food for our families. Volunteers are also needed to assist families picking up food between 8:30 and noon. If you are available to help in any way, please contact Jill Skinner (607-655-3031)or the church office (607-655-1791 or wumc1@tds.net)

MUSIC MINISTRY

Music is at the heart of our worship services. You will experience piano, organ and drums. Our choir enriches each service with their melodious voices. We also have an impressive bell ensemble that enhances many services during the year. Special occasions bring soloists to our sanctuary. When you sing you have prayed twice.
