Without wavering let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have.

For God can be trusted to keep His promise.

Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn one another, especially now that the day of His coming back again is drawing near.

Hebrews 10:23-25

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Sunday School is very open and active. Pre-school through adult classes meet on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:15 am - September through May. Activities begun in class often continue into worship service. We sponsor breakfasts, luncheons and Fun Fest. The Sunday school singers, lead by Ms. Loa on guitar, often perform during worship. We support various missions with our unique "Noisy Can" collections.
Please consider joining us on Sunday mornings between 9:15 and 10:30 for Sunday School. Are you into bible journaling and will show us how to get started? Maybe you make prayer cards or bookmarks that would be perfect for our bibles. Perhaps you have a story to share. See you Sunday!

WORSHIP COMMITTEE

A love of church and an aesthetic eye for detail, that is our worship committee. We decorate the sanctuary and sometimes invent new ways to get you to take notice. Prayer shawls and quilts are also a part of this ministry. We are a member of the Prayers and Squares Quilt Guild.
PRAYER QUILTS
Do you quilt? We would love your expertise! We piece and tie lap quilts for people needing prayer. If you can donate please call Nancy Washburn 607-760-3482.
PRAYER SHAWLS Do you knit or crochet? Please consider joining us as we make shawls every other Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Beautiful shawls are created to give to those in need as we join in fellowship and “fill” the shawls with prayer. Contact Carol Prentice with questions 607-725-3369.

MISSIONS COMMITTEE

We try to address needs locally, nationally and globally. Included in our efforts: ugly quilts for the homeless, pillows for heart surgery patients, weekly CHOW food distribution, assisting with serving free breakfasts, CHOW hunger walk participation, continued assistance to the Windsor Human Development and its programs.
GOD’S BREAD  program Tuesdays - 9:30 to noon.  The CHOW food program is open to anyone.  CHOW is a supplementary food program. We serve the families of the Windsor Central School District.  Tuesdays between 8 and 9:15 VOLUNTEERS are needed to  sort and bag food for our families. Volunteers are also needed to assist families picking up food between 9:15 and noon. If you are available to help in any way, please contact Jill Skinner (607-655-3031)or the church office (607-655-1791 or wumc1@tds.net)

Join in the fellowship any time - there may even be special refreshments. Our women's society is busy every month of the year with mission and fellowship projects. We are especially proud to sponsor: the spring Trash to Treasure sale, the fall Bazaar, Cans for Camp collection, Soup and Salad, and the Annual Ladies Luncheon.
CANS FOR CAMP  collection bin in the church parking lot. Redemption bottles and cans collecting in your garage or basement? Please consider donating them to help cover the cost of registrations for Sky Lake summer camp for children.

MUSIC MINISTRY

Music is at the heart of our worship services. Directed by Lael Bagg, you will experience piano, organ and drums. Our choir enriches each service with their melodious voices. We also have an impressive bell ensemble that enhances many services during the year. Special occasions bring soloists to our sanctuary. When you sing you have prayed twice.
DESSERT THEATER Each year for the past 38 years our Windsor United Methodist Players have provided the community with an annual musical production. The fellowship and christian spirit that surrounds the cast, crew and congregation during the production is truly a ministry in itself.
This year's production is "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" February 1,2,3
